Hi,
Here’s a follow up from Monday’s “Super Bowl Torah Minute”.
I wanted to share one of the great responses I got.
A good Torah Minute friend forwarded it to a friend of his, Senator Howard Carroll.
In the words of my friend, “Howard had a comment and asked me to…
“Pass (sic) it on”.
I thought that was a cute pun and it proves that he is definitely “on the ball”.
… Here’s what Senator Carroll had to say.
“There is a real question that Rabbi Katz needed to answer Saturday night.
What should Shlomo be?
A Jewish Patriot or a Jewish Giant!”
… Here’s my response.
If we engage our children Jewishly? And show them the beauty of their heritage?
In a way that’s relevant to them? In a way that’s fun?
They will be both!
Because they will become proud and knowledgeable Jews.
And they will be Jewish Giants.
Standing tall and proud as Jews.
And they’ll be Jewish Patriots.
They will be loyal Jews.
And they’ll want to be part of the Jewish future!
… Are you thinking, “Relevance? Fun? Engaged?
Doesn’t sound like Hebrew School to me!
Where can I send my kid for that kind of learning?”
I can’t think of a place to send him.
But I can tell you how you can do that kind of learning together with your son!
How you can learn and bond together at the same time.
With CTN Father and Son Learning.
(Ages 10 – 11)
We provide the Rabbi that your kid will love.
You get some friends together. A minimum of five committed fathers and sons.
And you’ll be amazed!
Here’s what a satisfied dad had to say…
