Hope you’re having a great day.
This is a follow up to my last Torah Minute about the miracle of water.
Thanks to the many readers who let me know that they “did it”.
That they made the blessing before enjoying a drink of water and were inspired.
(I was particularly enjoyed hearing from my (electronic) friend, Refy.
He made the blessing in Mumbai, India!)
… Being that water has such unique properties?
How much would you expect to be produced by “accident”?
Not too much!
You would expect it to be a pretty rare commodity.
But we know that’s not the case.
Water is the most abundant material on earth.
It covers three quarters of its surface!
… We just spent a few days inWisconsin.
And I kept thinking about the Torah Minute.
Because I love jogging alongLake Michigan.
And if you get used to saying “wow” about a glass of water?
What can you think when you see Lake Michigan!
Do you know how much water there is inLake Michigan?
About one and a third quadrillion gallons!
(You were right!)
Not quiet sure what a quadrillion is?
It’s a thousand trillions!
And as I was jogging, I kept thinking that G-d was saying to me…
“You’re the guy that wrote the Torah Minute?
(How’s that for being presumptuous!)
And you’re impressed with water?
Then take a look at My Lake Michigan.
And be inspired!”
So next time you seeChicago’s beautiful lake front?
Give it the “wow” it deserves!
… If you find the Torah Minutes inspiring?
And especially if you have gotten a new appreciation of a “simple” glass of water?
I urge you to join me for what will be an amazing workshop.
