Hi,
I hope you enjoyed the holidays.
… Well known law professor Alan Dershowitz wrote a book called “Chutzpa”.
He makes the case that Jews need to be more assertive.
Need to have more chutzpa!
There’s a cute cartoon of a man standing at the counter of a book store.
He says, “I would like a book about chutzpa.
… And I want you to pay for it”!
Professor Dershowitz asks the reader who sees a “good one” about chutzpa to send it to him.
I had been meaning to do it for a long time.
And I finally sent him a Torah Minute about chutzpa.
(In the next Torah Minute I’ll share it with you.)
… A good part of his book tells his personal story.
How he grew up religiously observant but drifted away from it.
I have always wanted to meet him. And offer him one of the things CTN does.
“A spiritual tune up”!
So I told him about myself and CTN.
And I gave him another example of chutzpa.
I told him that next time he’s in Chicago?
“Let’s do dinner together in Chicago’s classiest kosher restaurant.
And…
I want you to pay for it”!
… Which brings us to humor, laughter, spirituality and great food.
And to next Monday’s Lunch & Learn and Laugh!
It’s a unique opportunity.
A great lunch. A 20 minute presentation on ‘The Spirituality of Joy and Humor”.
And a hysterical comedy routine!
Not only is the food kosher? The humor is kosher as well.
And to make people laugh with kosher humor, you need to be very funny!
Richard Morris is!
… And this Friday night for Young Jewish Professionals?
Enjoy a special Shabbat Dinner with comedian Richard Morris.
Delicious food. Great people. And hilarious comedy!
You deserve some good laughs!

All the best,
