Hope you’re having a great day.

… The Hebrew school teacher was determined.

She was going to get the kids to remember the names of the “Five Books of Moses”.

“Who can list all five”?

One kid starts waiving his hand, “I know.  I know!

It’s… Genesis.  And um… um… Exodus.

And wait.  I know.  Don’t tell me…

Lexus?”

… It’s a cute story.

But in a way?

As Jews, we all drive a “Lexus”.

Because Jewish tradition says that when G-d gave us the Torah at Mount Sinai?

He gave us the keys to the world and told us…

“You’re driving!”

Our mission is to make this the kind of world that G-d wants it too be.

What we call a “Light unto the Nations”.

And to do that we need proud and knowledgeable Jews!

… And that’s why this is not a Torah Minute but a Torah Ten Seconds!

 But it’s a Minute about the Chicago Torah Network!
