Hi,
I may have been in a position to comment on the Super Bowl.
But the Oscars?
Forget it!
… I do know about one Oscar winning movie.
“The Ten Commandments” won an Oscar for “Best Special Effects”.
But believe me.
The Book is much better than the movie!
Besides, the movie may deserve an award for visual effects.
But the Book?
For the effect it had on the world!
… The Jewish People were given a script 3000 years ago at Mount Sinai.
A script that changed the world.
The Torah.
And we were given a mission.
Study the script. Live by the script.
“Get really into it”. Internalize it. Put your own personality into it.
But keep to the script!
… Winning an Oscar may be a thrill.
But our “Script” gave us something much more meaningful.
The ability to be an Eternal Nation!
… Which brings us to Purim!
We need to celebrate being Jewish. To celebrate the miracle of Jewish survival.
And to express our love for all Jews.
… At the CTN Purim celebration?
You can do all that.
Besides a beautiful reading of the Megillah (Purim story) by Rabbi Deutsch?
I will be sharing Purim Torah Minutes!
A short intro to the Purim story. And nuggets of inspiration before each chapter.
So if you enjoy the Torah Minute?
You’ll appreciate the Megillah like never before!
Then you can enjoy great food and celebrate with other great people!
… A Rabbi noticed that as soon as he started his sermon?
Seymour was out cold! Without fail!
