CTN TORAH MINUTE

Posted by rabbi.deutsch on 26 Jun 2012 / 0 Comment

Hi,

Hope you’re having a great day!

As we saw yesterday, Pharaoh wanted Moshe dead.

Moshe escapes to Midian, where he sees a group of women being harassed.

He saves them and waters their sheep.

… It’s pretty amazing.

Moshe is in a strange place.  The most powerful person on earth is out to kill him.

And he’s running for his life.

You might expect him to “lay low.”  To mind his own business.

But he doesn’t.

He can’t take people in pain.  And he stops to help.

… We all know people who are hurting.   Who need to see that someone cares.

.All it may take is a phone call.  A smile.  Or a little schmooze.

But we push it off “until tomorrow.”

Why?

Because our lives are so hectic.  There’s so much going on.

… We should think of Moshe and reach out.

Because we may have busy lives.  May always be on the run.

But we’re not running for our lives!

All the best,

P.S. I have around twenty seconds credit for tomorrow!
