The Super Bowl is behind us!

And pretty soon the game will be forgotten.

But there are some people really hoping that something will be remembered.

The people who spent 3.5 million dollars for 30 seconds.

That’s around $117,000 per second!

As one expert put it?

“It’s all about making memories that stick”!

… I was around 8 years old and going to sleep away camp for the first time.

Very scared and very nervous!

When the bus arrived we went straight to the dining room.

The head counselor welcomed us and then said…

“Is there a camper named Moshe Katz?”

I thought to myself…

“In trouble already?   I knew I shouldn’t have gone to camp!”

Then the head counselor continued…

“Moshe.  You have mail!”

… My father knew that I was very nervous.

So what did he do?

He sat down a few days earlier to write a postcard.

And it was waiting for me when I got to camp!

It probably took my father around 30 seconds to write it.

(That’s 3.5 million dollars in Super bowl time.)

And it made me feel like a million bucks!

… That camp was pretty basic.

But I had a great time.

And have many fond memories.

But the one thing that I remember most vividly?

The postcard!

I don’t even remember what my father wrote.

But I remember that he wrote it…
